With over a million downloads, Gradio is an open-source Python library for creating amazing ML demos, with 5000 being created daily. In under a year since getting launched, 7000 open-source demos have been shared through Spaces, including viral ones such as Dalle Mini with 50 million generations per day and ArcaneGAN.
As a Developer Advocate for Gradio, you will have a key role in driving the adoption of the Gradio library and Spaces platform, fostering and growing communities, developing tools to improve the developer experience, creating amazing demos, and bringing feedback to the team. You’ll collaborate closely with the Open Source and Product teams, as well as external collaborators and contributors. Deep Machine Learning expertise is not expected, but being able to understand the state of the field and take research code and adapt it to demos will be part of the day-to-day.
You'll get to foster and drive collaborations with research groups, lead communications, adopt the latest Gradio features, and build tools for the community.
Some example activities you can work on are:
- Craft and distribute high-quality content about the latest Gradio features.
- Engage with the ecosystem by doing user interviews to identify new feature ideas as well as help with the adoption of the latest features.
- Collaborate with researchers to upload their models and create demos for them.

We are growing a team with diverse backgrounds and skills, and hence being proficient in other human languages and having deep connections with your local ecosystem is a strong bonus. Having experience in Open Source development is a huge bonus. Existing engagement in different platforms (GitHub, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, etc) is also a bonus but not required.
