About This Role:
The Senior Executive Assistant, Business Affairs works directly with the CEO, taking a leading role in managing the day to day needs of the business, including financial, operations, and staff issues.
Responsibilities include interacting with partners (such as payroll services, accounting, and financial partners) to handle staffing and operations issues, creating presentations and reports on financial or operations issues, and generally serving as a source of support and backup for the business affairs of the company.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong business instincts and communication skills, develop a high familiarity with the company’s operations, be well-organized, excel at time management, and be able to act without guidance.
Please note that this position requires several years of hands-on experience directly related to business affairs, such as supporting a senior executive, working in a finance or HR department, or coordinating business operations issues. From Day One is a rapidly growing startup and we hope to find a long term match who will grow within and beyond this position to have a meaningful role in company operations.
