Job Description

Napier is a new breed of financial crime compliance technology specialist. Our AI-enhanced platform Napier Continuum transforms compliance from legal obligation to competitive edge.

Due to our ongoing growth internationally, we are looking to hire a Customer Solutions Architect to focus on our ongoing growth in North America. We currently have Solutions teams across EMEA and APAC and are looking to continue this growth into NALA.

Reporting to the Chief Solutions Officer, you will have a strong background in technical architecture (both cloud and on-prem), data integration and networking with excellent communication skills who can work on several projects in parallel. A product background would be useful but not essential. You will be the regional go-to person for technical knowledge, particularly around system integration.

Your day to day Customer Solutions Architect

  • Providing technical leadership and support to the Napier technical sales team. Where necessary, during the sales cycle, work with the Napier and client teams to understand client systems and data flows, describe the art of the possible, best-position the Napier system and answer solution/technical questions.
  • Advise the technical sales team on RFP responses (as required) and work with Napier Information Security, Platform, Engineering and Product teams to build up collateral to improve the efficient of the sales process.
  • Working closely with client architecture, project and development teams helping them to integrate with the Napier platform.
  • Pro-actively stay up to date on the Napier solution and work with Napier teams to ensure knowledge is up to date so that the individual can act autonomously in-region without over-setting expectations.
  • Understanding and specifying data-flows and data transformations requirements on a per-client basis and working with Napier technical consultants to deliver them.
  • Mentoring / governance of Technical Consultants in relation to the specific client projects and solutions being built

Requirements

Do you have what it takes?

  • Practical experience of web-based architectures and solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge API-based integration approaches, standard and messaging formats (including authentication techniques and experience in tools such as Postman and the Open API specification).
  • Data Integration technologies including data transformation
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP proxies, gateways, firewalls etc)
  • Information Security / secure data transfer knowledge (encryption, public/private keypairs, key management)
  • Experience working with large data sets and the challenges this can have
