HOG TECHNOLOGIES is located in beautiful Stuart, FL. We are one of the world leaders in road and runway maintenance vehicles. We design, fabricate and assemble some of the most innovative Vehicles in the Industry for pavement marking and removal, rumble strips, rubber removal from runways and more. The Hog line of trucks continues to grow and are now operational in over 56 countries around the world and are the subject of many patents both in the U.S. and internationally. Our team is also continually growing and we are always looking for talented individuals to be a part of the Hog Team.

Position Overview
As the Videographer/ Editor, you will assist in recording and editing mainly promotional and educational material of Hog Technologies' wide variety of products and services. This will combine working with large trucks and other components outdoors as well as extensive indoor studio work operating a wide variety of complex video and audio equipment. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and make quick adjustments and decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Record programs and events for broadcast on our website.
  • Operates a wide variety of video and audio equipment.
  • Edit a wide variety of content including training, promotional, webinars, educational, podcasts, and so on.
  • Prepare video content from programs and events for broadcast on our website.
  • Transports video and audio equipment to various sites for purpose of recording.
  • May use computer applications software in the performance of the job.


Requirements

***This is an On-site, not a Remote or Contract job.***

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Good knowledge of principles and practices used in video production and the operation of complex video equipment;
  • Good working knowledge of safe working practices; ability to use complex video and audio equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with everyone
  • Established knowledge of Adobe Suite, primarily Premiere amp; After Effects. Previous knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Electronic aptitude, Quick learner,

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Either:
(a) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and an Associate's Degree in Media or Communication Arts or a closely related field and one (1) year of video production experience; or (b) graduation from a trade school specializing in the media arts, and three (3) years of experience as described in (a); or (c) an equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).
SPECIAL NOTE: Education may not be substituted for 1 year of video production experience.

Other Important Information:

Supervisory Responsibility - This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment - This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel - This position will travel when necessary in order to complete the job tasks.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Pay Rate Range: $40,000 to $70,000 annual salary (based on experience)
