Anything but an ordinary museum, in 2010 Fotografiska was founded in Stockholm and in late 2019 opened its newest outpost in a treasured, historic landmark building in NYC’s Flatiron District. The iconic NYC and Stockholm locations are complemented by expansion in Tallinn, and a forthcoming Berlin Museum set to open in 2022. Fotografiska’s goals are simple: to inspire a more conscious world through the power of photography, to bring people together, raise awareness and create positive change. The Museum showcases the greatest photographers, whether they are emerging artists or already established internationally.
The Role:
Sitting with the Content Team, within the wider CultureWorks Creative Studio, the Digital Content Manager will work closely with the Director of Content, Brand Creative Director, and in tandem with the Copy and Content Manager to translate brand narratives, storylines, and initiatives into compelling digital content and manage the distribution of assets across brand marketing and content channels.
Requirements
- Support the execution of content strategy across NeueHouse amp; Fotografiska content and marketing channels, including social, web, video, email, app, and editorial.
- Work closely with Director of Content and Marketing amp; Brand team to conceptualize engaging digital content and support the creation of creative assets to advance the respective brands’ storylines.
- Coordinate content capture (photography and video) from live events and assist in execution of photo shoots, including shotlists, logistic coordination with on-property teams and external photographers, styling and propping, invoicing, etc.
- Develop and maintain a roster of external photographers and videographers with specializations across events, brand shoots, food and beverage, and editorial, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and timely delivery of assets.
- Assemble content for distribution across channels, including social content, paid advertising, editorial posts, email marketing, LinkedIn, web, app, internal and external partners.
- Organize and maintain brand photo and video libraries, establishing systems for internal accessibility.
- Work closely with the Content Director to synthesize brand initiatives, campaigns, and storylines into creative deliverables.
- Update and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars.
- Develop and refine content capture processes and pipeline working with on property marketing managers, Famp;B, in-house content capture teams and external photographers.
We are looking for candidates who bring:
- 3+ years of digital design and content experience
- An enthusiasm for digital and social media storytelling
- Experience collaborating with designers, writers, photographers, videographers, video editors
- A nuanced understanding of branding, digital design, content and media
- An interest and engagement with hospitality, design and creative industries
