Headquartered in Los Angeles, Wasserman also has offices in New York, Miami, Encinitas, Raleigh, Portland, London, Toronto, Dubai, and Mexico City.

The Senior Manager, Production is a significant position on Wasserman’s Experiential Team with responsibility for overseeing the successful delivery of various aspects of agency projects, from brief to execution for Wasserman’s Experiential division. The Senior Manager, Production will ensure that all of the projects’ operations and logistics are allocated and delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality as expected by Wasserman and its clients.

Additionally, the Senior Manager, Production will contribute to the Departments operations, processes, budgeting (for live projects), agency quality control, third-party supplier management as well as continually mentoring and developing the junior Operations and Production Team members.

This role can be based out of our NYC, LA, Raleigh, Dallas or Encinitas offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing various elements of the large-scale project from planning through to execution and overseeinglarge scale projects
  • Work in a collaborative manner with all Wasserman account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client’sobjectives and agreed budget
  • Manage vendor relationships with audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, registration, graphics, event flow, creative, food andbeverage, transportation, staffing, venue and labor
  • Regular communication with the client regarding roles and responsibilities, budget, schedules and project status
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects are correctly budgeted for and meet expected financial targets
  • Creates a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and values
  • Ensures that all project processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met
  • Ensures consistent positive working relationships between department and client service team members
  • Develop production schedules, run of shows, and enforce deliverable dates key to program’s success
  • Responsible for building and maintaining effective client relationships, ensuring that all client needs are addressed in a timely way though out duration of the project
  • Manage and develop the relationships with Wasserman trusted suppliers and third-parties, though out the duration ofthe project
  • Promotes a team environment and provides work direction and guidance including coaching, professional development and training; guides team on deliverables, and ensures best practices with project management
  • Attends conferences, trade shows, etc., as necessary to ensure Wasserman always provides best-in-class programs and increases its product offering to industry-leading clients

Supplier Management:

  • Works with colleagues to ensure that all agency suppliers meet Wasserman standards of sustainability, ethical purchasing, quality control and pricing structure
  • Works with the Senior Leadership Team to select and recruit the necessary and most appropriate suppliers for each project and as agreed with each of the account teams
  • Oversee successful supplier delivery throughout the duration of each project

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 7 years relevant / increasing operations experience (preferably in the experiential, sports or entertainment field)
  • Possesses exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Must be comfortable working as a continual partner to all Wasserman team members
  • Open-minded mentality, allowing thorough exploration of all ideas and thought starters
  • Needs to be a focused, strong-minded individual with ambition to help grow the company
  • Must thrive on a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude continuously
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines
