About This Role
We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Operations team, to implement and advance various human resources programs.
Our Ops team works to foster a people-first company culture that supports each team member in their growth and authentic enjoyment while working at Crema. The PeopleOps Coordinator will often be the first face that a new employee sees when joining Crema and a consistent point of contact throughout their career at Crema. Success in this role requires a high degree of intentionality, attention to detail, and discretion related to private employee data.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Director of Ops amp; HR, your role as PeopleOps Coordinator will include a wide range of HR tasks. You will help support our hiring process from recruitment to onboarding, working closely with Craft Directors to understand their hiring needs. This will include helping to develop and manage a recruiting process built for efficiency and scale. You will be responsible for managing semi-monthly payroll, maintaining employee payroll files, and managing registration and compliance for state payroll taxes. You will administer benefits including initial enrollments and continued maintenance, always seeking opportunities to educate the team about our full benefits offerings. You will work within our HRIS platform, looking for ways to gather and analyze data to help inform data-driven decision making. You’ll also collaborate with other Ops team members to create equitable systems, cultivate inclusive employee engagement, and improve the overall work experience at Crema.
Requirements
About You
You should have at least 2 years of direct experience and a broad knowledge of human resources functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration. You stay up to date with modern HR best practices, trends, regulatory changes and employment law with the ability to perform training or knowledge transfers where necessary. You can prioritize tasks and effectively communicate technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
