Job Description

Integral to our success is a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our growing People team! As the Senior Technical Recruiter you will be in charge of sourcing and screening talented candidates with deep technical abilities in the oil and gas, energy, chemical processing, automotive, aerospace, renewable energy and/or maritime industries!

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will partner with Amogy’s Talent Acquisition Manager to guide technical candidates through the process of screening, interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding. In addition, you possess advanced interpersonal skills to communicate with and screen candidates, and know how to leverage digital recruiting tools and connections to effectively source candidates.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
  • Lead writing and posting job descriptions using appropriate technical terminology.
  • Effectively and actively source, screen and interview applicants for technical skills and ability.
  • Establish a pool of qualified candidates to swiftly meet the hiring needs.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the People Team at large to arrange interviews and provide travel arrangements as necessary.

Requirements

Our Ideal Technical Recruiter Will:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruitment in the oil amp; gas, chemical processing, automotive, aerospace, renewable energy and/or maritime industries preferred
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree
  • Be comfortable sourcing, networking, and attracting diverse talent
  • Be adept at partnering with technical hiring managers to meet hiring targets at a time of very rapid growth and expansion into multiple markets both domestically and internationally
  • Have prior experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System to track interview and hiring workflow
  • Have a "people first" mentality with the ability to drive thoughtful and empathetic decisions
  • You value integrity and have the ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
  • Be Collaborative: You enjoy building relationships and report with candidates and internal teams!
  • Be Flexible: You feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
  • You have a keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability!
