Job Description

The Contracts Attorney role is responsible for the review and negotiation of global partner and customer contracts for the purchase of Calabrio products and services and vendor contracts for Calabrio’s purchase of goods and services. The Contracts Counsel is crucial in driving a global approach to contract language and negotiation of key terms through facilitating relationships with key members of the global sales, partner, and marketing organizations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing legal support to the global sales and strategic partner, teams, including, drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating customer and partner agreements
  • Performing contractual and administrative requirements, including through utilizing creativity and technical skill
  • Understanding the core products and services offered and explaining legal terms and conditions in a meaningful manner to internal teams, customers, and partners
  • Assisting with creation of legal policies and other key initiatives as needed
  • Driving research of global laws and regulations, including laws affecting data privacy and information security standards and advising on business impact

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree with experience in commercial law (reviewing and drafting contracts)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
  • Be a results-oriented self-started and display sound and professional judgment
  • Have a high degree of discretion and judgment, with a focus on confidentiality and integrity
