What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a Public Relations professional to create narratives that guide our brand story. The ideal candidate will contribute to existing PR efforts, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company objectives. We are looking for someone with prior experience with a wide range of PR functions and an established relationship within the media realm.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, coordinate, and manage strategic, creative public relations campaigns and related activities that sustain a specific image for our brand and competitive teams
- Plan PR roadmaps including schedules and calendars in an organized and timely manner
- Seek high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media to increase company visibility
- Build connections with medial and journalists through a mix of channels from traditional to digital and social
- Ensure that our PR efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals
- Engage with marketing department to ensure that the PR campaigns are aligned with all company strategic goals and relevant plans for growth and new business opportunities
- Forecast news cycles and identify areas of trending public interest
- Write strategic and effective messages and prepare and distribute documents and statements
- Liaise with social, marketing, sales, partnerships, and other teams to provide support for relevant promotions, partnership deliverables, etc.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
- Communicate and respond quickly and efficiently to all media inquiries
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Ensure visibility and status of all activities and results to internal stakeholders
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising or related field preferred but not required
- 4 years of public relations experience, preferably in entertainment, media, or esports industry preferred but not required
- A proven track record of successful PR campaigns
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of traditional and digital media and social media
