Bilingual Front/Back Medical Assistant

Bi-lingual Front/Back Medical Assistant needed for fast paced dermatology office in Glendora, CA. Medical Back Office experience is desired; this position is full-time. Standard shifts: 8-4:30, 8:30-5. Must be available for these hours.

Most desired assets are dermatology/medical back office experience, medical receptionist experience, excellent customer service skills and familiarity with HMO vs PPO insurance.

Candidate should be a self-starter and take initiative to stay busy with work. Candidate should also not be afraid to accept and acknowledge mistakes they have made and use that experience to improve their skills and work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones - assist patients with scheduling and other questions
• Check-in/Check-out
• Prepare chart for patient visit
• Room patients
• Assist with minor surgical procedures
• Stock supplies/clean exam rooms

Requirements

• Medical Office Experience: 1 year (Required)
• medical assistant: 1 year (Required)
• Glendora, CA 91741: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
