• Hiring a full time medical biller for a busy dermatology office in Orange, Ca.
• Billing Services should NOT apply.
• Candidate should be familiar with differences between HMO/PPO/Medicare insurance and authorization requirements.
• Job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Calling insurance companies for claims follow - up
• Researching claim status through insurance portals
• Sending insurance claims
• Appealing denied claims
• Posting patient office visits
• Placing HMO referrals for services
• Patient balance follow - up
• Assisting patients with billing questions
• Posting insurance payments

Requirements

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• HMO billing: 1 year (Required)
• Medical Billing: 1 year (Required)
• Work authorization (Required)
