E-commerce Data Solutions Analyst
As an E-commerce Data Solutions Analyst, you will focus on project design and implementation including, but not limited to, workflow setup and maintenance, product information management (PIM) system mapping and environment support, as well as cultivation of the master data source of truth for our clients. In this role, you will work directly and closely with clients to make sure they have a smooth and successful engagement with OneSpace, and as such, needs to have strong communication skills while knowing the various ins and outs of our business and applications.
In this role you will:
- Partner with Account Managers to lead technical requirement gathering sessions
- Work closely with clients and development teams as data is being collected to ensure comprehensive and accurate transfer of information
- Help clients identify how OneSpace can assist in solving their e-commerce business problems while keeping expectations within the scope of our capabilities, offerings and contractual parameters
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and operative requirements
- Manage technical implementation/integration of solutions with Salsify or other PIM providers for CPG clients
- Architect complex data models that support the scaleable transfer of data to/from multiple systems
- Assist with initial workflow creation, working cross-functionally with internal Solutions Engineers to scope and implement necessary system customizations
- Acts as the subject matter expert of our data intelligence strategy
- Establish procedures and processes that support OneSpace and departmental standards, values and strategic directives while also providing continual evaluation of said procedures and processes, thereby contributing to the strategic direction of projects and the business
- Provide daily direction and communication to the team so that projects are completed on time and meet quality guidelines and budget
- Provide expert-level knowledge of all OneSpace platforms and business strategies
- Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding client and/or team concerns
- Travel as necessary
Requirements
To win in this role you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with an emphasis on:
- Phenomenal organizational and communication skills
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving
- Ability to evaluate available approaches and solutions for a client and to scope technical requirements for system implementation
- Detailed quality assurance skills for system creation and maintenance, as well as to ensure the integrity of large datasets
- Experience working with Salsify and/or other Product Information Management (PIM) systems preferred
- Knowledge of e-commerce, CPG, retail or other relevant industry experience a plus
- Team player who works well in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
