Early Childhood Teacher Assistant-Daycare

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay range: $15-$24 based off experience

Responsibilities:

• Plan activities and experience consistent with developmentally appropriate practice and Creative Curriculum in order to guarantee future success for students
• Structure activities,routines and transitions to minimize wait time for children
• Evaluate progress,needs and interests of children on a regular basis
• Regularly provide care and education for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years
• understand and apply child development in all areas of curriculum,environment and interactions

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 college credit hours
• be energetic,patient, and creative;be passionate about learning and children, have the ability to multitask and have the ability to communicate and work well with others as part of a team
• recent physical exam
• Heb A vaccination
• Covid-19 vaccination
• a recent TB test
• Must pass a FBI Fingerprinting background check

Preferences

• A valid child development associate (CDA) credential or 9+ college credit hours in early childhood education, child development,youth development, or child/family related courses
