The Equity Capital Markets Analyst will be involved in all facets of JMP's investment banking activities, including supporting private and public equity offerings such as crossover financings, PIPEs, ATMs, CMPOs and Marketed Follow-Ons, IPOs and SPAC financings across a variety of industry groups. JMP’s analysts often work directly with senior investment bankers, continually receiving an education in financial analysis, as well as a broad-based exposure to all equity and debt products.
The specific responsibilities of the analyst may include: financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, coordination of various processes involved in financing, preparation of offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials for meetings.
