Job Description
Industry: Commercial architecture
Location: On-site in Englewood, CO (Denver area)
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annual salary plus comprehensive benefits package (see below for details)
Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday, flexible work hours (with 9:00am - 4:00pm core hours)
Summary of Mandatory Qualifications:
- Three+ (3+) years of architectural work experience
- Four+ (4+) years of Revit experience

Hover Architecture, headquartered in beautiful Douglas County, Colorado, is a commercial architecture firm with an incredible portfolio, sound financials, and a growing project base. With a solid project lineup behind us, we are looking for a few more talented folks who want to be a part of building and expanding our exciting future in architecture. We provide a wide range of services including land entitlement, programming, design, and administration of commercial projects. We have a tight team of 15 employees, and our smaller size allows us to be nimble and make quick adjustments in a constantly-evolving industry. We like to consider ourselves a "small but mighty" architecture firm. Ideal Architectural Drafter Personality Traits:
We’re looking for a talented and energetic professional to join our positive, supportive, and collaborative team. As an Architectural Drafter, you’ll work on a variety of tasks including collaborating with the design team, meeting with clients, and actively designing and working through the production of technical drawings. For this role, the ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has a keen eye for quality and accuracy when drafting their architectural designs
- Is an excellent problem solver and takes the initiative to come up with solutions when a problem is discovered
- Enjoys being productive and managing their time effectively
- Is a self-starter and is naturally driven
- Can professionally and confidently correspond with employees, contractors, consultants, and clients

Essential Responsibilities of an Architectural Drafter:
- Work on project types including automotive, retail, fitness, and mixed-use facilities
- Draft architectural plans using Revit
- Prepare conceptual designs, development drawings, and construction documents
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and professionalism of the instruments of service
- Rework and modify plans based on comments and reviews from management and clients
Requirements
Experience and Skills Required:
- 3+ years of architectural work experience
- 4+ years of Revit experience
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- High level of autonomy, drive, and initiative
- Strong, proactive problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient with Revit, Microsoft Office, and file sharing technologies
