Building the first solution capable of identifying, attributing, and licensing content in real-time, even before it’s published, is no small feat, so we’re looking for a new Senior Backend Engineer to join us on our quest to bring freedom, fairness, and transparency to the Internet.
The TeamAs a part of the Rightsholder Team, you will be an active contributor to both technical and product outcomes and have an opportunity to help enable the next technical evolution of Pex software. You will provide technical leadership and contribute code on a team that values transparency and clear communication in an environment where all team members are supported to take initiative, experiment, learn from their mistakes, and share opinions freely.The Role
- Lead technical direction for your Rightsholder Group team, understand its place in Pex architecture and collaborate with other tech leads to shape overall direction
- Create scalable, performant Go applications leveraging SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Write clean, tested, efficient, and maintainable code
- Contribute to product design and direction while considering technical tradeoffs
- Actively guides architecture, tool selection and technical quality
- Mentor fellow engineers at multiple experience levels
- Consider and collaborate with other stakeholders when making technical decisions that impact them
About You
- Very comfortable with Golang
- You’ve written large, scalable, maintainable and performant web applications in production
- Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate technical concepts and solutions
- Ability to communicate and work effectively in a fully remote and distributed team
- Passion for learning, solving problems, and working iteratively
