Currently hiring for line/ prep cooks with 1-2 years experience. Daily duties would include line/prep cook, food preparation, cleaning, stocking food items, opening and closing kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Requirements
1-2 years kitchen experience as a line/prep cook. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to follow instructions and and give positive feedback to managers.
- Proven experience as cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
