Museum of Ice Cream’s mission is to unite and inspire the world through imagination and connection. We need a skilled Content Creation Specialist to help us share our unique, one-of-a-kind experience with the world.

We’re looking for high energy, can-do, creative thinkers who specialize in photography, videography, and editing for social media and marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Capture and produce content for social media and marketing purposes, with a focus on videography and photography
• Edit all captured content for our platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Book and manage freelance photographers and videographers for Museum of Ice Cream’s other locations
• Communicate and coordinate with the operations team to execute marketing initiatives

• Contribute to development and execution of marketing, social media and PR initiatives for MOIC Chicago

• Support the team to complete the assigned task by being self-managing the schedule to get it done

DETAILS:

• Nov. 7th - Dec. 11th (flexible)
  • Five week internship with the opportunity to extend
• Hybrid - Remote and IRL
  • Flexible schedule - Must be able to come into Museum 2 - 3 times per week
  • Museum located in downtown Chicago
• $20/hr, ~30 -40 hours per week

Requirements

• Prior experience in filming, videography and photography
• Knowledge of Adobe and Google Suite

• Comfortable with working with tight deadlines

• Can take direction and changing gears quickly

• Strong organization and communication skills with high attention to detail

• Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively, eager to take on new challenges

• Open minded and always curious to learn and expand beyond your comfort zone
