Job Description

Data Processing Analyst

Denver, CO

Hybrid work (3 days in office/2 days remote)

The Data Processing Analyst is a member of the Network Operations Core amp; Backbone Operations Service Strategy team and is responsible for providing capacity expansion and new build support for the team. This position requires a combination of data processing, Smartsheet configuration and process analysis tasks. The team is engaged in many new network builds and existing network expansions for both fiber and coax networks which requires orchestration and deployment of a large number of cutting-edge network components. The breadth and velocity of the effort requires efficient processes and creative use/development of tools and automation to provide real-time coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Strategy team in the processing of network equipment procurement/deployment activities. This logistical work involves interacting with vendors, purchasing, engineering and field staff during the equipment procurement through equipment deployment journey.
  • Thought leader for the design and implementation of process improvements and introduction/operation of automation to the team. The automation environment is a combination of Smartsheet and Excel documented in Lucidchart, PowerPoint and/or Word. Products such as status dashboards, data integrations, workflows, reporting and data entry methods to produce an effective and efficient, highly automated project management environment are the end goal.
  • Establish and operate automated report dissemination and notifications for Smartsheet.
  • Answering questions related to Smartsheet and providing demos to new team members.
  • Understanding of Smartsheet's premium capabilities such as Data Uploader/Data Shuffle, DataMesh, Bridge and Automated Workflow.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate issues related to process and technology.
  • Establishment of an effective feedback plan for the tools developed.
  • Ability to visualize and automate the execution of complex business processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • SME-level competency with Smartsheet, Lucidchart, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • 3+ years large enterprise IT project-based team experience.
  • 1+ years of experience working with enterprise-level Operations Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) projects.
  • Experience in cable industry preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The successful candidate will bring creativeness, critical thinking and a self-starter approach to this position.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve features, performance, and usability of Smartsheet, Jira and other automation tools used by the team.
  • Strong logical and analytic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and deal effectively with ambiguity.
