ROLE: GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hudson Health is currently seeking a passionate and tenacious Graphic Design Intern to join the Marketing Team. S/He will be contributing their creative vision and experience to a variety of branding and design projects. They will collaborate with the Marketing team and our Graphic Designer to produce digital, print and web-based materials including, but not limited to, digital creative assets for web pages, emails, social media, online advertising campaigns and printed materials. The intern will help Hudson build their vision into an elevated brand that transforms the health and wellness industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and produce modern, engaging graphic designs that work across various platforms including digital ads, social media, email, and websites, as well as print
- Interface with print vendors, and strategize specs and designs for flyers, postcards, event displays, merchandise, photo research, and more
- Assist in branding projects from conception to creation
- Provide creative strategy around email layout/design
- Photo editing and light retouching
- Active member of the marketing team
- Contribute to periodic team meetings to foster creativity and collaboration
- Stay abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in graphic design
- Highly motivated team player with outstanding organizational and problem-solving ability
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams
- Creative and resourceful problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with little direction when required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to commit part-time or full-time
- College credit available
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE amp; EDUCATION:
We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally we would expect that you have:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advertising, or related field
- College credit available
To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate the following:
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in strong conceptual, typographic, communication and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize and demonstrate flexibility when handling multiple projects
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, InDesign
