What will you be responsible for /helping us to do?
You will be a key player in the commercial team and will manage the growth and subsequent profitability of the global Trade Channel with double digit objectives. This will be done through a variety of means from building commercially viable partnerships, maintaining existing accounts all the while, articulating and showcasing to our Exco the rationale and results of your team’s strategy. You will work closely with the technology and product teams to drive innovation and encourage technological uptake from our global trade partners and have sound understanding and experience of the attraction industry. This role covers a wide range of responsibilities, but we know that our People are more than just their job description. Requirements
- A proven track record in a B2B/distribution role in the travel industry (attractions or OTA knowledge a plus)
- Demonstrable pamp;L experience of managing gt;$20million, and ability to demonstrate ability to drive top and bottom line
- Global experience in business development and account management with a focus on US and EMEA populations specifically (this role also partners with our teams in APAC)
- You are commercially minded with a whole heap of drive and strategic thinking
- You have plenty of examples of how you have previously built commercially viable partnerships
- Have lots of know-how when it comes to having a pipeline of new accounts and converting existing prospects
- Clear communicator with an unrivaled ability to think strategically and long term with capability to present and update stakeholders on trade strategy up to and including the Exco and Board
- Leadership accumen enabling you to elevate your global team of 10 to further success
- You are product solutions oriented with the ability to sell existing solutions, drive product iterations and drive the technical side of Go City’s trade team with partners
