The Accounts Receivable/Billing Clerk will be responsible for full cycle accounts receivable and billing functions for vehicle sales to fleet and retail customers. Claim, record and reconcile tax rebates/reward for electronic vehicle sales. Work with DMV analysts to reconcile DMV and registration charges. Work closely with sales and delivery team to support vehicle sales and delivery. Must have knowledge of vehicle sales process.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and update customer information in SAP to ensure proper sales tax is collected by geographic locations
• Verify DMV charges and sales tax for sales orders, change sales orders in SAP to match vehicle deal total processed in Dealer Track
• Record customer down payment, prepare proforma invoice and receipt to customer
• Receive casher’s cheque from customer and make deposit in the bank
• Verify and record customer final payment, and notify delivery team
• Process billing and apply customer payment to customer invoice
• Work with delivery team and sales team to reconcile customer deposit and solve collection and billing issues
• Ensure all stages of deal processing are completed for retail and fleet customer sales
• Process DMV billings, reconcile of fees paid and charged, and solve discrepancy
• Prepare claim for various government electric vehicle incentive programs on timely basis, ensure completeness and accuracy of required claim documents, reconcile claim with funds received
• Assists with special projects as needed

Requirements

• 2-3 years Accounts receivable and billing experience are required
• Ability to follow process and procedures based on business operation and related compliance requirements
• Strong computer skills to work across multiple systems; experience with DealerTrack and SAP is desired
• Automotive experience is an asset
• DMV, vehicle title and registration, and dealership experience is also desired.
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Quick learner, ability to adapt to frequent change and to work in fast pace environment
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Authorized to work within the United States
