We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. As a Recruiter you will deliver top talent and lead strategic searches for our Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams. You’re most likely to be successful in this role if you are a motivated self-starter, have a solid understanding of recruiting best practices, able to source and assess profiles to build pipelines, and build strong partnerships with your internal hiring teams.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree strongly preferred with 2+ years’ experience as a Technical Recruiter at an agency and/or corporate
- Relationship Management of all involved: Candidates, Interviewers, and Hiring Leaders
- Strong cold calling skills and a sales mindset
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience recruiting candidates across all business units (Technology, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, etc.)
- Expertise with recruiting databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced tech environment and respond quickly to changing priorities
- Dedicated to creating a seamless and wonderful candidate experience for every candidate every time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Engaging interpersonal skills: enthusiastic individual who connects well with others
Responsibilities
- Run a full recruiting cycle for a variety of positions across departments including: Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product and Customer Success, etc.
- Write and post job descriptions on career websites and university job boards
- Source candidates by using databases and social media
- Evaluate and screen resumes
- Conduct phone, Zoom and / or in-person interviews
- Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
- Stay up to date with current recruiting methods
- Attend job fairs and career events
- Work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining candidate quality
- Partner closely with our Recruiting and Hiring Leaders to ensure we attract, assess and close the best of the best.
- Build trusted candidate relationships, drive offer extensions, negotiations, and acceptances.
- Help build the MessageGears’ brand by hiring the best of the best, person by person
- Conduct all business in accordance with MessageGears policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
