Please note this is a hybrid role with Monday and Wednesdays in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full user experience and design process for new product development and enhancements
- Work with Product Manager to understand scope definition for product initiatives
- Work with Business Analysts to gather feature requirements using various techniques to support an improved user experience
- Work with Business Analysts to produce wireframes and designs that pair with clearly defined feature requirements
- Lead developer design review meetings, ensuring technology capabilities support design
- Participate in grooming sessions to assist Business Analysts in requirements discussion
- Participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies, such as daily standups, Sprint Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning
- Assist with outward communication regarding technology initiatives ensuring user experience is effectively communicated
- Work with our Marketing department to remain current on market insight and areas of opportunity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in design tools such as Axure and Adobe XD, or similar
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as solid group presentation skills
- Ability to interact with others effectively and professionally, regardless of position
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Experience working with a collaborative issue-tracking tool, such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience using content collaborative platforms such as SharePoint or Confluence
- Experience using a collaborative whiteboard platform such as Miro
- Freight brokerage industry knowledge
