Ragtag bunch of hooligans seeks a smart Associate Media Director to help our clients’ brands drive e-commerce engagement and sales through social and digital channels.

About the job:

Our growing marketing firm seeks to add another hooligan to our posse. We are a team filled with Jacks of all Trades and are on the hunt for someone who understands the ins and outs of paid media to drive online CPG sales. Our clients are natural foods brands (big and small) focused on tackling awareness, engagement and the ever-evolving world of e-commerce.

Our media team speaks data, client and creative. They specialize in translating insights into big picture thinking. Our new Associate Media Director must find great joy in the word, optimization. They must seek to spot trends and help our clients and creative teams capitalize on them. Above all - they make it rain for direct to consumer (DTC) clients.

Requirements

About You:

  • You are a self-starter and skilled multi-tasker who can juggle many client projects at once
  • Your are highly experienced in DTC strategy (resulting in increased sales on site leveraging performance marketing) and media planning to drive online sales, including prioritizing e-comm platforms based on brand needs (ie: you can turn client goals into a prioritized mix among search, social, online grocery, amazon, etc.and then execute on that plan)
  • You are a skilled storyteller who can translate excel sheets into client-facing language that’s easy to understand
  • You pay close attention to details and have strong organization skills, paired with clear verbal and written communication
  • You possess an unrivaled proactiveness and hustle
  • You are analytical by nature, have strong problem-solving skills and are experienced in navigating client relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • You have demonstrated experience in developing audiences, in addition to successful campaign setup, deployment and optimization
  • You collaborate with creative and strategy teams to optimize creative, messaging, and audiences across campaigns and platforms
  • You implement and manage strategy, delivery, and optimization of paid social campaigns including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest to drive online sales
  • You perform paid media channel audits, recommendations, and stay up to date on best practices
  • You continue to optimize, optimize, optimize
  • You work with reporting lead to analyze KPI’s and provide recommendations for account improvement, across channels
  • You lead development of e-commerce-forward media plans and budget allocations; help clients understand consumer journey to purchase and role of different ad channels and formats
  • You make recommendations to improve clients site sales, including site improvements, email strategies, etc.

  • A degree in media, marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalency in experience
  • 5+ years paid media strategy, planning and buying experience in the digital and social space
  • Experience working with CPG brands and e-commerce platforms is mandatory
  • Must be a blackbelt in all things Google
  • Additional certifications in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Social Media Platforms, Email marketing, and SEO are a plus


Associate Media Director salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 based on relevant work experience.
