Agtonomy is a hybrid autonomy and tele-assist service platform that turns tractors and other equipment into autonomous machines. A robust sensor suite and custom software stack enable remote modes of operation with a higher margin of safety than conventional equipment. Agtonomy, through its OEM partners, will address both local agriculture skilled labor shortages and broader land maintenance operations, including wildfire prevention through land clearing.
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Program Manager to join our Program Management team. You will be responsible for integrated planning, communications, dependency and risk management, and synchronized software delivery execution. Importantly, this is a technical role where understanding software and software engineering is essential to successfully building strong working relationships with technical experts and orchestrating high-quality software releases. You will be responsible for managing projects for developing new products and services from concept through commercialization. You will work on complex projects, will be capable of handling a diverse task load, and will be ready to take on new and exciting challenges daily.
What you’ll be doing:
·Develop and track project plans and monitor progress to ensure deadlines and standards are met.
·Coordinate and synchronize the software engineering team and other internal groups to design, build, test, and release software on time, focusing on high quality.
·Work with cross-functional teams to clarify and scope product and feature requirements.
·Anticipate and mitigate risk points.
·Make the right tradeoffs between schedule and scope while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
·Identify and track dashboard metrics that can be used to report status to leadership, as well as drive team behavior and accountability.
·Report out metrics and progress to the leadership team.
Requirements
What you’ll bring:
·Meaningful software technical background, including demonstrated ability to understand how components fit together into an overall product/feature deliverable.
·Proven track record of exceptional capability in hardware/software integration and software development amp; test methodologies.
·Strong knowledge of software engineering management, tools, and processes (project tracking/scheduling; document management; Static analysis, SW unit testing, requirements verification; issue/bug tracking; configuration management; integration/release testing, etc.).
·Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, organizational and leadership talents, communication skills, and systems thinking.
·High level of emotional intelligence.
·3+ years of technical program/project management experience focused on complex software delivery.
·In-depth knowledge of Project Management fundamentals.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative, small team environment with little supervision.
·Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and documentation skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders.
·Passion for sustainable vehicle development.
