Digital Marketing Manager

Permanent/Full time, Remote, US

The Team:

Cambridge Epigenetic (CEGX) is about to launch it’s first product that promises to leverage the power of next generation sequencing (NGS) into the study of epigenetics and its effect on human health and development. As we evolve from a research-focused organisation to a commercial SME, so is our need for individuals that understand how to support product launches and brand awareness. We are building a world-class commercial team of product managers, marketeers and customer-service specialists who are excited about the impact genomics is having on human health and want to help CEGX make a big splash in this space.

The Role:

As part of the development of our commercial functions CEGX is looking for an experienced Digital Marketeer to build and deliver a successful digital strategy for CEGX’s product pipeline. We will be fulling embracing digital channels to engage with customers and KOL’s and are looking for someone who would relish the chance to own this process. We will be looking to you to advise on channels, materials, outsourced partners, etc to build a coherent and quantifiable strategy. You won’t be alone in this endeavour; working with product managers, applications specialists, Ramp;D and senior leadership, this will be a multi-disciplinary approach.

Some key duties/deliverables:

  • Complete ownership of CEGX’s digital program strategy (planning, execution, optimization)
  • Use diverse but directed channels to foster engagement and ultimately support the sales pipeline
  • Data driven insights to help the wider business make key decision
  • Support ongoing efforts to build a coherent value proposition for CEGX’s products
  • Work with leadership to be a key contributor to business strategy ideation
  • To embrace a multi-disciplinary and multi stakeholder approach to digital marketing working with Ramp;D, Product Management, Application Support, Sales and Snr Leadership to align on vision, execution and deliverables.

Requirements

The Person:

The ideal person for this role will be someone who has experience leading digital marketing strategy in fast moving, high-tech business. Ideally candidates that have an understanding of the biotech industry and those that can demonstrate supporting early-stage companies will have a distinct advantage, but we would not like to limit ourselves to this. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who has a creative and innovative approach to digital marketing but is also pragmatic and hands-on in terms of delivery of any strategy.

Key Attributes:

  • Proven experience building, delivering and evaluating digital marketing strategies, ideally in the life science domain but we would also look at candidates from similar high-tech industries
  • Degree qualified in life science subject or marketing
  • Flexible and adaptable in approach happy with fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Sound understanding of digital marketing channels and the metrics/KPI’s used to monitor them
