We are currently seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to focus on Mergers amp; Migrations. As a Solutions Architect you will report to the Senior Director of Solutions; you will be responsible for working with account managers, solution delivery consultants, and technology partners to craft solutions that meet our current and prospective clients' challenges. A Principal Solutions Architect is responsible for ensuring our solution is aligned to our client's business objectives, timeline, and budget, and facilitating an exceptional client experience through the solutions process and into transition to delivery kick-off. In addition to architecting solutions for our clients, as part of the Praecipio Solutions Team, the role plays a strategic role in shaping the overall solution roadmap for the company. You will be expected to take ownership of a specific set of Delivery Teams products, support those with Sales and Marketing asset creation and management, own demos, technical conversations, and documentation in this product catalog with clients requesting support in the sales process. You will be tasked with Program-level ownership of a specific Practice area, as well as one or more internal team initiatives in place to improve our teams process, relationships with out clients, and internal customers. Additional more granular areas of expertise:
  • Specialization in Atlassian and adjacent tooling with focus on Mergers and Migrations
  • Navigate among the key players at large, global, and complex organizations to understand their needs and how you can support them
  • Partner with Account Executives to create Solution Briefs to support more efficient sales activities
  • Guide SOW creation with Account Executives and Review SOWs with SME's for clear objectives and sound solutions that meet the client's express and implied requirements, budget, and timeline.
  • Support Demo requests and own your Practice and Delivery Team demo environments
  • Provide support and review of Solution Brief and SOW estimations
  • Solve business problems for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Praecipio's leadership team to identify opportunities to advance Praecipio Solutions
  • Defining and Refining delivery Service Offerings
  • Contribute to the evolution of delivery practices
  • Drive Reciprocal feedback loops between sales, marketing, delivery, and leadership
  • Thoroughly understand our technology partner's software and offerings and understand how to best position
  • Provide and facilitate internal sales enablement training and documentation to support sales and account management activities
  • Stay apprised of industry best practices and market trends
  • Act as the central hub for the feedback loops from Delivery, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership
  • Stay up to date on new products and offerings and how they relate to current and emerging technology trends to ensure customer receives the best solution
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company and increase sales
  • Provide internal Sales enablement assets and contribute to externally facing sales collateral
  • Participate in and provide subject matter expertise for marketing assets such as digital content, live presentations, and asset reviews
  • Monitor success rate of sales and delivery, contribute to creation and evolution of reporting, and monitor the profitability of specific practices

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience and a deep understanding of IT, the software development life cycle, DevOps, Agile, and related business processes involved with formulating solutions
  • 5+ years experience in Atlassian product consulting and/or configuration
  • Preferred background in managing or selling products related to software development, technology management and delivery, and/or IT operations
  • Extensive background in supporting and performing Mergers of Atlassian tooling, as well as Migration of the tools from Server, to Cloud, DC to Cloud
  • Extensive experience migrating between competitive platforms, such as Service Now JIRA Service Management, Rally/VersionOne JIRA, and so on.
  • Show consistent success with maintaining and building client relationships within an orga
