Job Description

Calabrio is looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to join our growing Sales Operations team in Minneapolis! The Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administrating the sales incentive compensation policies and programs. Reporting to our Director of Sales Operations, this person will be a key member in the continued success of our high growth Revenue organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ownership of all day-to-day commission administration resulting in accurate and timely commission payments
  • Create, validate, audit, and distribute monthly statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of commissions crediting and payout results
  • Lead the creation and distribution of individual sales commission plans for eligible employees within the sales and greater revenue organization
  • Coordinate process for sales tracking and reporting to ensure all new business opportunities are recorded appropriately within Salesforce for monthly and quarterly incentive payment calculations
  • Perform configuration, testing and other support activities related to plan, quota, and policy changes
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for Executive Leadership Team and Board Members of commission and sales attainment metrics
  • Proactively identify, develop, and implement process improvements, documenting procedures to achieve efficiencies and scalability
  • Become a trusted advisor on sales incentive plan to the global sales organization
  • Be a strong cross-functional partner with the Finance, Sales Operations, and Human Resources teams to maintain monthly commission reporting and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Respond to compensation related inquiries from the Sales Team in an effective and timely manner

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate and influence across a wide spectrum of functions that are part of the incentive compensation process
  • Incentive calculation and payroll experience, along with strong understanding of sales compensation practices
  • Ability to work in an evolving and fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • High level of integrity, able to preserve confidential information
  • Strong initiative and motivation to streamline and improve processes for more efficiency

Requirements

  • 4-7+years of experience in compensation plan development and analysis, preferably within a high-growth SaaS organization
  • 3+ years working with commissions software solutions such as CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Performio, etc.
  • 3+ years working experience with CRM tools, Salesforce highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar fields, or equivalent relevant working experience
