Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
CompStak is a fast growing tech company that’s building a great and unique Data product for the commercial real estate industry. We’re looking for a talented and creative Marketing Content Manager to join our growing marketing team!
We are searching for someone who is super excited to learn and become an expert in our industry - to increase CompStak’s brand awareness and educate the CRE community with the value that our amazing product provides!
We have a hybrid work environment where we go into the office 3 days a week and work remotely 2 days a week. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage external content vendors.
  • Building a content strategy and plan.
  • Collaborate across all levels of leadership and management to create awesome technical and non-technical marketing content
  • Explain complex, technical topics in a clear and easy to understand way
  • Develop company’s content strategy and implement the marketing content and communications activities
  • Define company’s messaging and clearly communicate CompStak’s value and competitive advantages to our audience in a strategic way that can help increase demand in our product
  • Create content for all types of marketing materials such as blogs, ebooks, website pages, landing pages, ad text, case studies, video scripts, presentations, product updates, sales materials, and more
  • Work closely with product, sales, design and development teams in order to create and deliver quality content
  • Proofread, edit and improve content created by other departments, and make sure messaging and tone of voice is aligned throughout all materials
  • Focus on SEO and create content that will be strategically optimized to help increase our search ranking and organic traffic
  • Be data driven and use tools to analyze data to improve content engagement over time
  • Stay up to date on everything-CRE-data and become familiar with industry news, events and tools
  • Become an industry expert so you can generate relevant, high quality and educational content for our audience
  • Determine strategies for the best places to share content through various channels and grow CompStak’s presence
  • Understand target personas and the buyer’s journey in order to address various aspects of the journey through content
  • Provide editorial support to various content contributors within the organization
  • Bring an analytical mindset to continuously analyze marketing metrics and improve content to increase leads
  • Actively participate in marketing campaign calls to understand how best to address various campaign needs through content to help ensure campaign success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You are absolutely passionate about writing!
  • Excellent written communication and grammar skills - native English level
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You’re a team player and collaborate well with teams internally and externally
  • Super motivated to learn and become an expert to educate the CRE industry
  • Ability to take technical information and turn it into engaging and exciting content
  • True passion for technology-focused writing, with a desire to create content that educates and informs our audience
  • Self-starter with an ability to own projects and work independently
  • Experience writing content for SEO to help drive and improve ranking
  • Great with time management and deadlines - can turn around projects quickly
  • You’re excited to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • 3+ years experience in content marketing
  • B2B SaaS content marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
The base pay ranges provided below are for NYC Metro-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than the NYC Metro area may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Pay range: $65,000 - $100,000
