Job Description

SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a Configuration Manager / Data Manager to support our programs delivering Next-Generation Missile Warning software in Boulder, CO. This is a unique opportunity to join a small business delivering core capabilities for National defense. You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence.

SciTec is seeking a Configuration Manager for a multi-year program requiring ongoing management of program records.

Configuration Manager responsibilities include:

  • Establishing, enforcing, and maintaining the Configuration and Data Management processes
  • Maintain software configuration management tools
  • Managing digital files and work products
  • Ensuring that all required deliverable and non-deliverable contract data are properly identified, scheduled, marked, approved, inspected, submitted, and accepted
  • Managing identification, integrity, and change control of the baseline (hardware, software, documentation, COTS, FOSS, GOTS, and GFE/GFI)
  • Managing receipt, review, and baselining of CDRL/SDRL Deliveries
  • Supporting internal and external audits/reviews like CMMI, AS9100, IPDP and DM internal audit gate review activities
  • Supporting PMO activities

Requirements

The following minimum qualifications are required for the position:

  • Bachelor degree plus 5 years of relevant experience performing configuration management for software-centric products. Preferred degrees: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate changes using defined change management practices while maintaining configuration control
  • Ability to evaluate the current environment, gather needs, and propose a recommended CM solution using attention to detail skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • Secret DOD Security Clearance
