Job Description
The Fitness Program Manager managers and directs all operational aspects of an on-site fitness program ensuring the highest level of participation, results achievement and customer satisfaction in the delivery of programs and services. This position is responsible for contract compliance; design and facilitation of a variety of health amp; fitness programs. This position will Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security protocols
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to lead, manage and operate a fitness center.
Manages all fitness center program activities
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or related discipline required; or 10+ years related experience or the equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience
Preferred
- Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise prescription
- CPR/AED/First Aid certifications required before going onsite (if not current will need to obtain prior to being on-site)
- Group fitness instructor or personal trainer certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NSCA or NETA required
- Any security certifications required by the employing organization or company
