CultureWorks is the holding company, management and development platform for culture, experience and hospitality brands. Our portfolio consists of kindred companies with intellectually curious audiences, who are shaping the future of how we gather, work, connect, and experience the arts together.
NeueHouse
NeueHouse is the private workspace and cultural home for creators, innovators, and thought leaders. Regardless of locale, and by deliberate design, all our environment and teams support, nurture, and connect NeueHouse members and their communities in reaching their creative potential.
Fotografiska
A Museum Experience for the Modern World, Fotografiska museums are home to an unexpected mix of world-class art, vibrant cultural programming, and exceptional dining experiences. Founded in Stockholm and now with a second landmark location in NYC’s Flatiron District, our teams are working on forthcoming museums in Berlin, Shanghai, and Miami. Fotografiska’s goal is simple: to build a more conscious world through the power of photography.
The Role
Part of a growing global People + Culture (HR) team, the People + Culture Manager supports day-to-day HR initiatives for our NeueHouse LA teams, which include the Hollywood, Bradbury, and Venice Beach Houses and any LA-based corporate employees. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of P+C (based in NYC), the Manager will be heavily focused on ensuring strong HR administration and compliance, maintaining impeccable system hygiene in Paycom, creating a memorable employee experience for property-level talent across multiple departments, managing a wide range of employee questions, and creating a supportive + kind employee relations culture.
The P+C Manager should be confident in advising team members and leadership on HR matters of all kinds and know when to proactively escalate issues to the Regional Director or Chief People Officer. Must be familiar with and equipped to support internal HR audit initiatives to make sure we are a compliant environment and be willing to coach and educate managers at all levels on how to manage effectively, remain in compliance, and build the culture on the west coast. The role will also be a key player in any internal HR/Pamp;C investigations and must have impeccable record keeping/documentation.
The P+C Manager will work on our properties an average of three (3) days a week to ensure that our teams have regular in-person support for HR matters but will have hybrid flexibility.
The role should expect to be based out of our Hollywood House with travel, as necessary, to either DTLA or Venice Beach (with notice and planning).
