ROLE: SOCIAL MEDIA ASSOCIATE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hudson Health is currently seeking a passionate and tenacious Social Media Associate to assist in managing all cross-functional marketing initiatives. S/He will assist the Marketing Team with creating and executing a content calendar for different social media platforms and audiences. The Marketing Intern will work with team members on integrated promotions and ad campaigns utilizing social media channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital storytelling and is enthusiastic to embrace the constantly changing landscape of social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Increase brand awareness, drive traffic to and across Hudson’s digital ecosystem, drive engagement, and support marketing program
  • Help to strengthen Hudson's online story by optimizing content operations and advising on strategy based on engagement results
  • Create, curate, edit, and optimize content (written and visual) aligned with corporate marketing and communication objectives through strong collaboration across the enterprise
  • Create relevant, valuable, usable, and useful social media content and strategies reach Hudson’s audiences
  • Identify, engage, and activate target audiences based on marketing priorities/campaigns
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition. Organize competitive strategies, posts, initiatives.
  • Analyze social media campaign effectiveness and utilize data to review impact and results and to create measurement reports
  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting digital marketing
  • Identifying trends and opportunities, as well as translating analysis into actionable plans
  • Work with the team to manage day-to-day marketing activities (content creation, email, banner ads) and analyze campaign effectiveness; lead competitive intelligence and analysis
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE amp; EDUCATION:

We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally we would expect that you have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, English, or similar field
  • Minimum 3+ years marketing, medical or agency experience

Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience within a health care / wellness environment or hospitality industry
  • Experience in creating social content, to include social calendars, and social campaigns that has increased the company’s traffic and overall visibility
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to speak knowledgeably with high-level executives internally and externally
  • Experience with SEO and third-party tools such as SproutSocial and/or Google Analytics
  • Experience in managing social media accounts and adeptness in social media platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing and advertising on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Strong editorial background

  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) proficiency is required
  • Experience with CRM tools a plus
