As a Senior Software Engineer (.Net) you help shape the future of cutting edge educational delivery and will directly impact and support the organization’s platform. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and key corporate and campus personnel to maintain academic quality, consistency, relevancy, and integrity in program development, course creation, oversight and review, and educational delivery. This position will lead a UI development team in implementing, testing, and deploying platform enhancements and to improve course delivery, report functionality, and ultimately improving student outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Software development in a remote work environment;
- Work independently to design and implement API microservices, object services, and repositories;
- Participate in daily development team meetings;
- Configure and maintain resources in Microsoft Azure;
- Assist in CI/CD using Jenkins;
- Participate in periodic software deployments during off-hours.
Requirements
- MUST live in and be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are currently not able to hire from the following states: Massachusetts, WA State, WA D.C., Connecticut, Oregon, California and New York
- 7+ years C#
- 5+ years ASPNET Core 5+ or later (dependency injection, RESTful APIs, Razor pages)
- 5+ years of Microsoft Server (SQL language, stored procedures, database design)
- 2+ years of Azure Cloud Services
- Experience using Visual Studio 2019/2022 and GitHub
- Agile / scrum experienced
- 5+ years Entity Framework Core 5+ (including migrations)
