The following list are some of the things you could be doing on a daily basis:

• To perform general and routine maintenance to ensure facilities are in good working order.
• Hands on position that requires performance of general maintenance requests and projects as necessary including repairs, maintenance for all buildings, plumbing, painting, electrical work and HVAC.
• Responsible for ensuring all the proper tools and supplies are kept in appropriate location and in good condition.
• Responsible for recording daily activities to facilities manager.
• Complete project and maintenance lists/tasks in a timely fashion.
• Daily tasks included but aren't limited to: restrooms, kitchen facilities, walkways, grounds, etc.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations and shifts.
• Will need to work with additional maintenance technicians to solve problems, validate quality of work for outside contractors, work with building managers, and meet aggressive timelines.
• Participate in any form of event set up, temporary structures, furniture moving, requests from owners.
• Other duties as assigned.

** hourly pay depending on experience.

Requirements

• Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of public buildings.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Skill in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
