The Job:
We are looking for a multi-disciplined animation designer to join our team. Your primary focus will be creating dynamic and effective paid media ads, interactive web content, logo animation, and marketing materials to further the agenda of our clients’ vision and our agency network. Our ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to constantly improve his/her skill set.

Location: Candidates local to Indianapolis are preferred. U.S. remote employees will be considered.
Technical Skills
JDA utilizes Adobe Creative Cloud, so you will need to be fluent in After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Google Web Designer, and Figma. Additional required skills are a comprehensive use of color, knowledge of design principles and layout aesthetics, and an ability to follow written and oral instructions. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with a proven understanding of typography and photography both in practice and theory and candidates with previous marketing and paid media design and animation experience.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling digital ad assets
- Collaborate with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and account executives to carry out the campaign or brand vision
- Contribute strong animation expertise within brainstorming sessions
- Provide subject matter expertise on paid media and digital marketing, educating others on tactics and objectives to achieve desired goals
- Execute on all other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required. Business degree with marketing focus or related field preferred
- 5+ years in related digital media, animation, and/or design experience to execute digital marketing campaigns
- Experience in producing and presenting animated media
- Experience understanding campaigns from conception to final execution and ability to make suggestions for optimization
- Experience with pixels/custom goal configurations in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
- Possess a highly creative mindset with an excellent understanding of the principles and mechanics of animation
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, updating team on work progress, capacity challenges, and final results
- Able to interpret a creative vision, field questions quickly and decisively, and foster collaboration between multiple departments
- Proven ability to execute projects end-to-end, on time, under general direction in a highly dynamic, collaborative, and supportive environment
- Understanding of SEO, social media, and email on campaign execution and marketing objectives
- Ability to sketch and illustrate is a plus
- Passion or interest in gaming and the mechanics of gaming is a plus (Unity Game Engine, Unreal Game Engine, Nuke, Maya, Modo, Houdini, Adobe Animate, Adobe After Effects, Disguise, etc.)
- Proficient in using a Mac
