Water Utility Management is looking for an Area Manager for our South area. The main responsibilities include supervising the Water Utility Management water treatment facilities and ensure they operate in accordance with federal, state, county, municipal, and company policy standards. This also includes maintaining applicable regulations and permit requirements. Ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment, facilitating flow and treatment of wells, and monitoring the effectiveness of treatment is also a crucial part of the role. The role also includes supervising, assigning, and training a small group Water Utility Technicians.
Requirements
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 5-7 years of hands on experience in the operation of water/wastewater systems
- Leadership experience preferred
- Water or Wastewater Certifications preferred but not required
- Employee in good standing
