Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Staff Satellite Electrical Engineer II who will be responsible for the satellite electronics and hardware from concept to prototyping to production.
Requirements: You have 12+ years of experience designing satellite electrical systems from cradle to grave.

Core responsibilities
- Design board-level high reliability hardware for spaceflight thermal, vibration, and radiation environments
- Design for power management and distribution systems including solar panels and batteries
- Assist in on-orbit success, failure, and recovery
- Manage EMI mitigation and wiring
- Test, debug, and validate high reliability electronics
Required
- B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience with electrical ICD definition, requirement derivation, power interfaces, connectors, cabling
- Understanding of digital I/O standards
- Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, and signal generators
- Experience with flight software controls, electronics thermal management, telemetry, and power and energy budgets
- Experience with multiple flight systems
Ideal candidate
- M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python
- Experience with LEO and GEO
- Experience with CubeSat or NASA Class A
- Experience testing hardware in relation to TID, SEE, EMI
- Understanding of power integrity analysis tools (ADS SI/PI or Signal Integrity)
