Job Description

Management Consultant (Contract)

Role Description

The Consultant will partner with a global Fortune 500 hospitality client service as project manager for consumer-facing initiatives such as launching new functionality for customers and supporting resolution of critical customer escalations. The Consultant will work in collaboration with multiple local and global internal functions, departments and stakeholders.

This is a 6-month contract role. Hourly rate is $80.00/hour. Hybrid schedule with minimum two days in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic design, implementation and expansion of consumer-facing elite loyalty products and offerings
  • Provide project management support for key projects within the elite loyalty program and triage ongoing member experience escalations
  • Formulate PowerPoint briefings that synthesize data insights, approaches, and recommendations to enable socialization and buy-in
  • Manage project tasks, budgets, identify digital experience enhancements, support vendors with fulfillment and planning and develop talking points/FAQs
  • Address break-fixes with Global Technology Team and development of member and/or associate communications to address pain points with member benefits
  • Conduct quantitative analysis using complex data sets using Tableau, Excel and SQL
  • Develop implementation plans that detail activities, timelines, owners and milestones
  • Facilitate meetings and engage cross functional stakeholders to ensure awareness and input into key deliverables
  • Ensure that deadlines are met by all stakeholders involved in the work

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in analytics or related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial consulting experience with hospitality/CPG industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with project management and successfully managing multiple parallel projects or work tracks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Advanced proficiency with MS PowerPoint and MS Office product suite required
  • Proficiency conducting analysis and manipulating data in Excel, Tableau, SQL and other data analytics software
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, analytical and strong quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Team player and stakeholder manager that collaborates effectively with others and drives towards results
  • Flexibility to adjust based on near-term priorities and scope adjustments
  • Ability to rapidly produce well-crafted and sound recommendations and deliverables
  • A polished communicator, both written and spoken
