We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Associate Manager of Technical Product Development to join the OUAI team! This role will be reporting to the Technical Director, Product Development. This position will be critical in supporting the product development team and helping ensure the timely execution of projects.


What You’ll Do:

  • Work with the regulatory team to understand the artwork update requirements to ensure compliance with domestic and international needs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and external vendors and
  • Own the artwork and update projects for all existing SKUs/assortment.
  • Establish artwork tracker and provide the status of artwork amp; related issues to the team
  • Manage critical dates and timelines for artwork update needs
  • Organize all batch submissions and finished good retains as needed, including on-site approvals whenever necessary
  • Coordinate the formula evaluation with the CMs and other vendors during formula development, reformulation, and scale-up processes
  • Manage day-to-day communication with manufacturers to initiate, follow up and track development, submissions, and documents
  • Understand regulatory and testing guidelines for cosmetics and OTC products
  • Coordinate all the necessary testing for approved formulas including safety tests, stability tests, compatibility tests, clinical tests, etc.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 + years of lab experience in the cosmetic industry
  • This role is Hybrid - must be based in Los Angeles to come into the office
  • Detailed-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated skills in project management and knowledge of new product development processes
  • Ability to execute under certain timeframes and quickly adapts to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional interpersonal skills
