We’re looking for an energetic, hands on professional to join our team and drive growth by hiring, onboarding, and coaching a sales development team to conduct effective outreach and discovery to our target customer profiles.?Familiarity with?roles and structure of Marketing and MarTech organizations are critical to the success of this?candidate. The right?candidate is resourceful, innovative, works well within a team and?cross-functionally?and?seeks feedback from?stakeholders?to optimize the sales development team’s approach.?

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-2 years of Sales Development leadership, and/or 2-3 years experience as an individual contributor experience at a software / technology firm is required
  • Effectively lead teams with right combination of data and strong personal leadership
  • Experience and deep understanding of sales technology tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, SalesLoft, Demandbase, Zoominfo, etc.
  • Experience selling into the Marketing Department / CMO organization is strongly desired
  • Experience selling into the Marketing Technology / Product Management and Customer Data amp; Analytics organizations is strongly desired
  • Experience selling into Enterprise Brands is strongly desired

Responsibilities
  • Hire, lead and mentor fantastic sales talent to qualify, nurture and deliver leads to our Sales Executive team
  • Set and communicate clear objectives for individual team members - and hold the team to them
  • Daily use of existing sales automation tools to make decisions regarding how customer and prospect outreach will be prioritized, what the most effective method of outreach may be, effective call scripts, etc
  • The primary goal of the Sales Development team w/in the Growth organization is to generate qualified (B.A.N.T.) leads for the field sales team via proactive cold outbound outreach (actionable intelligence, targeted contacts at targeted accounts) via email, phone, social media, etc. and reactive warm inbound outreach (inbound marketing activity follow up).
  • Ensure gathering of key information to update the CRM system and develop a follow-up/engagement strategy
  • The ideal candidate should have an analytical mindset such that they are able to review key performance data and prospect engagement data (on a daily basis) in order to make recommendations to the organization and company to achieve ongoing growth and outstanding performance levels.
