As a Public Relations Manager you’ll be responsible for developing innovative and impactful written and visual content while supporting branding and core messaging across multiple market segments and geographies globally to garner media attention and augment brand awareness.
- Design, implement, and manage public relations programs around the globe.
- Manage the organization's PR partners and oversee all their activities.
- Plan and budget for PR initiatives including programs and events.
- Write concise and insightful media pitches.
- Design and review media announcements and media kit content.
- Analyze all media coverage and draft appropriate responses as needed.
- Daily review and oversight of PR inbox, including interactions with key journalists.
- Develop, implement, and oversee PR policies and procedures.
- Pitch to top-tier U.S. media outlets as well as niche publications.
- Initiate and build long-term relationships with all relevant media stakeholders.
- Produce content for various public events.
- Provide support in preparing talking points, key messages, and editorial pieces or presentations for major industry events and conferences.
- Manage translation process.
- Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, as needed.
- Measure and provide reports on each PR and Communications campaign.
- Coordinate and support product launches.
- Ensure that all technical communications are accurate and consistent with the company's messaging.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activity to inform PR strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to stay informed about new developments and ensure that all communications are technically accurate.
- 5+ years of experience in technical PR or a related field
- Strong understanding of technology and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with journalists and industry influencers
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a technology-related field is a plus.
- Out-of-the-box thinker who can craft compelling media pitches.
- Strong Media Contacts.
- Fluency in German, French, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
