Overview:
The IT and Instructional Support Professional is responsible for effectively supporting faculty and students in managing electronic and physical resources. The person works on a flexible schedule, Monday - Friday, between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and support to students, faculty, and staff on necessary software for successful operations. Communicate effectively with students and faculty; verbally and in writing
- Assist faculty and administration in the analysis of data and resource utilization to ensure effective program outcomes and resource usage
- Respond to help desk-related tickets and inquiries for a wide variety of simple-to-complex technology problems, including, but not limited to, virtual meeting software, learning management systems, student information systems, and third-party software systems.
- Create reports and manipulate data for multiple departments as needed
- Work with the IT Director/Nursing Program Administrator to design and implement an on-campus technology orientation program.
- Create/update guidelines for students/employees on software system usage.
- Troubleshooting/support for students and employees (hardware/software)
- Maintain all on-campus hardware and software
- Assist with school website updates
- Login support (various platforms)
Requirements
- BS or BA degree preferred in Information systems technology/computer science
- Two years experience with a background in IT, analysis, training, and/or management preferred
- Related experience in working in higher education and technology services
- Administrative experience with Learning Management System software is preferred.
- Administrative experience using complex formulas/SQL commands in Google Sheets/Excel/Access/SQL database
