What We're Looking For
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst for Strategy to join our insurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, strategic planning, and data analysis within the Pamp;C insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in the insurance value chain, including underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs specific to the insurance industry.
- Conduct industry research and trends analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct research and gather information to inform strategic decision-making.
- Communicate and present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunity areas for automation, ability to participate in developing final deliverables
- Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and make adjustments as needed based on industry trends and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on insurance industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis and strategic planning within the insurance industry.
- Experience working as part of a scrum team and understanding of Agile development methods
- Strong understanding of the insurance value chain and its key processes. Experience with requirements analysis and interviews and documenting requirements across the Pamp;C insurance value chain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel, SQL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
