Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform method development and sample analysis in biological matrices including plasma and various tissue homogenates.
  • Conduct routine in vivo pre-clinical PK studies and in vitro ADME assays.
  • Process, analyze, summarize, and present assay results to project teams.
  • Write and review study protocols and reports as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance of Lab equipment.
  • BS or MS degree in a science-related discipline with approximately two years of experience; candidates at the Sr. RA level should have additional years of experience. An advanced degree will be considered in lieu of actual work experience.
  • Experience in working with plasma, various tissue homogenates, primary cells is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic data analysis software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, GraphPad Prism or similar) is required.
  • Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS instrument is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in interfacing with departments and collaborators.
  • Adaptability to work simultaneously on multiple projects under tight timelines and changing priorities is a must for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position as Research Associate, at our South San Francisco, CA corporate office is $95,000 - $102,000. The salary range for this position at the Senior Research Associate level is level is $105,000 - $112,000. Factors such as academic credentials and relevant experience will influence the actual salary offered.
