Who We Are: Sunday Friends (https://www.sundayfriends.org/), a highly-regarded nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based out of San Jose, California, is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and empathetic leader, fundraiser, and community builder to serve as its new Executive Director. For nearly three decades, Sunday Friends has served underserved families in San Jose through community-focused initiatives which aim to increase intergenerational economic mobility. Each year, we serve 300+ families, 1000+ unique members, through our 170+ educational life skills classes (including financial literacy, and digital literacy) and have received over 125,000 pounds of food and basic necessities for our families. We are driven by the hope for a better future!

Who We Serve: Families in San Jose who may have multiple generations living together supporting each other and wanting the best for their families and children to have a safe, healthy, successful life ahead. In our community, there is less access to resources, lower-performing schools, higher rates of unemployment, and higher crime which adds to stress.
