Job Overview/Summary

As part of the Human Resources team, the Recruiter will support BioDuro’s talent acquisition program. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting for positions of all levels functions include sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, and offer extension. The Recruiter, while using a consultative approach with both the candidate and hiring manager, will support the hiring of top talent for the company. This role may also be involved in refining the recruiting, on-boarding and retention programs, and the development of enhanced internal referral programs, internship programs, and external recruitment strategies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, screen and interview internal and external candidates for open positions
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire
  • Maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates and the community at-large
  • Coordinate with hiring management to develop a recruitment plan, attend job fairs, college recruitment functions and community outreach programs
  • Design, select, implement and administer screening tools
  • Interview all candidates including the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies as well as initial phone skill-based screening methodologies
  • Organize, lead and document post-interview debrief/feedback and post-mortems with interview teams and candidates
  • Assist in coordination of pre-employment travel, relocation, reporting dates, security clearances and employment processing including visas (with HR assistant and Generalist)
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
  • Conduct employment advertising campaigns and programs
  • May work with external resources including temporary agencies, contract search and Internet sourcing tools
  • May assist in the immigration processes and administration procedures as a liaison with company’s immigration attorneys

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and training
  • 1-3 years recruiting experience, including one (1) year in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or life science recruiting
  • Knowledge in full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management and due diligence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as SPHR, PHR or advanced degree is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and project management skills
  • Must be Internet-savvy and experienced in using the Internet as a research tool
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision and guidance and to work with confidential information in discrete manner
