Play an important role in the development of Diamond Foundry’s Mfg. Equipment Supply Chain.
We are looking for a highly motivated Director, Global Strategic Sourcing to join our team!You will play a key role in driving strategic equipment and component sourcing, planning and on-time delivery to our Equipment Manufacturing team in various sites, domestically and internationally. Your supply chain experience and ability to model, strategize and help drive equipment delivery to meet supply will give you the opportunity to shape the vision of an on-time efficient supply chain strategy for thecompany and to play a pivotal role in worldwide market delivery of our current Diamond product as well as future key Technology product to vendors in developing markets.Responsibilities:
  • As the supply chain architect, you will define, develop, and implement a state-of-the-art supply chain strategy bringing scalability, efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
  • Convert tool forecast requirements into a master execution plan, from planning, procurement, and material management to order fulfillment, and inbound and outbound logistic activities (including reverse logistic), in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Strategically organize supply chain activities to simplify and consolidate suppliers, maximizing leverage while focusing on security of supply, quality, and cost. Influence Ramp;D to align design efforts with preferred and reputable sourcing partners.
  • Define and execute key commodities supply agreements or provide dual sourcing strategy to maximize results.
  • Establish key process indicators (KPI) to measure and trend improvements for all important Supply Chain metrics to help drive year over year operational savings and margin improvements.
  • Manage rapid changes through efficient communication and coordination between Ramp;D and Manufacturing to balance speed of product quality and reliability improvements with product transition costs minimizing material shortages and scrap cost.
  • Establish long term goals and quarterly objectives aligned with the company initiatives.
  • Establish Supplier Quarter Business Reviews and Executive alignment meetings with key suppliers
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, material management, or related field (MBA).
  • Minimum of 10 years in supply chain management including experience with capital equipment purchasing or semiconductor procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills, and extremely motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary team.
  • Deep understanding of every step of the supply chain process to lead procedural transition from agile "manual processes" to eventually established PLM and ERP implementation.
  • ERP (preferably NetSuite) and PLM experience required. Experience with ERP and PLM transition or implementation is a definite asset.
  • Experience in building and managing teams sourcing parts for complex capital equipment is a must; basic semiconductor wafer manufacturing process preferred.
  • Organization, verbal and written communication, attention to detail.
